Navarians,

I'm on an epic road trip from ocean to ocean with my cousin Scott. I'm in Los Angeles right now visiting my sister. We have seen some of the most beautiful parts of our country.

Today, I got to do the Mojave Shake in the Mojave Desert. It was 118 degrees by the way.

Navarians,

I am in North Carolina right now, about to head to the beach with my buddies, however I find myself looking forward to getting back after seeing pictures of the new studio. I haven't seen the studio in a few weeks and the progress is pretty amazing. When I get back, we are going to start the recording process for the new record. I got some new cymbals and a new snare drum....and if you can't tell, I've been working out. I'm hoping my new sounds and buff physique can provide an animalistic kick to the new album.

Navarians,

Axl Rose once scribbled the words: "Take me down to the paradise city where the grass is green and the girls are pretty." He was writing about Towanda, Pennsylvania. I have been doing title work in Bradford County, PA, county seat Towanda for the past month or so, and I've never felt more welcome anywhere in my life. The women of the courthouse make it far and away my favorite of the 16 courthouses I have worked. The women in the assessment office play Navar music all the time, and one lady from the recorder's ofice, Cindy, is wearing the Navar shirt I got her on her on her vacation, and rumor has it she will be dancing on the bar with it as well. Sweet.

Bradford County offers many neato activities. One of the ladies, Amy, was telling me about the donkey basketball game in Wyalusing. It also has what I call the sea to sky highway. It's a scenic drive from Towanda to Athens over looking the Susuquehana and the mountains beyond it. I also discovered a gem called the Red Rose diner. It's a train car diner with the best lunch food I've ever had. At the Comfort Inn yesterday, some dude was flying a remote control helicopter around the lobby. I think he was management but I'm not sure. Very neato.

I would be remiss in my duties of reporting the wonderful facets of Bradford County without mentioning some names of people I have had the pleasure of spending time with...only facet here is spelled Fassett. The Fassett women have been very nice. While one has me contemplating bizzarre theories and twisting my brain, the other was kind enough to invite me to her home for dinner.

Last but not least, I met a woman named Judy Kisner....my favorite of them all. Every day she has a new redeneck joke for me, and she doesn't mind swearing. Therefore, she rules.

I will miss Bradford County. It's so my style. I hope I can make it back there someday.

Navarians,

I'm turning 29 on Tuesday, March 21. I am sad about this because it is the last of my 20's. I have thoroughly enjoyed my 20s to the fullest extent. I try to have fun every day and I do a pretty good job at basically doing whatever it is I feel like doing. I worried for a while that my 30s would be more of a downer than my 20s, but my goal is to make my 30s even better than my 20s. They'll be a tough act to follow but I intend on spending my 30s in a tour bus with my three brothers, which would in fact make them better than this decade of decadence. I truly believe at sometime between my 29th and 30th birthday, something big is going to happen with this band. I think we have some wonderful fans that believe the same thing. Perhaps the tour bus on March 21, 2007 will be parked in Wompatuck.....with my hands in the Devil's cookie jar. We shall see.

Navarians,

It's been quite a while since I've updated my personal page and I apologize for the hiatus. My Chiristmas was neato. I got more junk for my insane basement and lots of fun stuff. My cousins and I played pitch dark capture the flag with our light sabers. It was pretty awesome. My girlfriend's mother and father cooked maybe the best meal I've had in my entire life. Oh, and yeah, we got a new guitar player. Thank God!! I was beginning to think my time alone with the Savage brothers was never going to end. Johnny Masters came to play. Thanks John.

Pat informed me that I am going to have my very own Sports Corner of the www.NavarNation.com forum. For those who have never talked to me for more than about 30 seconds, I am a bit of a sports junkie. My basement has 8 TVs, all in a row. Screen 5, the biggest of the 8, is the main screen and is hooked up to speakers on the outside. I keep the other 7 on mute. This goes with my 8 Direct TV boxes and the NFL Sunday Ticket, NBA League Pass, ESPN Fullcourt and MLB Extra Innings that we have at the pad. So every now and again I will make my own sports commentary on the website, and I hope by the end of 2006, you will know what I know, and that is that the world would be a better place if I was the Dictator of all Sports. Or, at the very least, GM of the Boston Celtics. Fire Danny Ainge!!! Please Oh please!!

Navarians,

We are a good 5 weeks into the tour and for those who haven't seen us lately, my hair is longer than it has ever been in my entire life. I am considering a haircut however, as I am afraid that people are now concentrating their interest in this band less on my band mates and less on my incredible talent for the drums, and more on the fact that I am becoming a sex symbol. My art is not about how beautiful I am but the heart that I put into it. If I can't be taken seriuosly as an artist and a musician because of my sex appeal, and if my band mates are paid less attention for their respective crafts, I think cutting my hair will help divert the fan's interest from my great physical pulchritude to the beauty of our music and expression.

Navarians,

It is day 6 of the Touch of Class Tour and it has been quite the adventure. Tonight is my night in the “master suite” of the RV. I slept in until 7:19 this morning so it was the best night sleep I’ve had since the tour began. We got to spend the night with my sister Nicole who lives in Boston. I haven’t seen her in a while so I was very excited. I even made Ben change his sweaty shirt before we met up with her and my brother in law. I’m thrilled that I’m going to be an uncle in November. I’m going to spend the night hanging out with her tomorrow. I can’t wait. Spaghetti O’s all around. Well I’m off to read my dorky sea adventure.

navarians,

we're in new york and playing our third show of the tour tonight. I've had exactly ten hours of sleep since Wednesday and I've completely annoyed all of my band mates because of my erratic sleeping paterns. I'm surviving on Red Bull, Mountain Dew and Chef Boyardee. We all have jobs while we're riding. Ben drives, I navigate, Skippy drifts in and out of sleep while eating and playing on the computer, and Pat apparently is physically unable to remain conscious while moving. Another day another town. Rock and Roll.

Navarians,

T-minus eight days and the band will embark on its first ever national tour. I am extremely excited because this will coincide with the release of our new album, Touch of Class. I believe this is Navar's best work to date. I hope you will all enjoy it. I'm proud of my three blood brothers. We all hope to see you on our tour.

With my Celtic's T-shirt
I love Joe Elliot too
I watch 8 TV's cause I'm kind of a douche
All at the same time in the basement of my house
because I'm a Broncos fan
Plummer's inconsistence haunts me
We're still gonna beat you
And I'll have another round

Navarians,

Skippy is in the shower right now and we're getting ready for our trip to Toronto. I figured I would take 5 minutes of my time and stop annoying my band mates and draft this Tim update. I secretly just used some of Skip's Cool Wave deodorant. Not bad. I'm a little nervous...like I am before every show. I'm sweating. I'm not sure if it's because of the heat or because I've run up and down the stairs today for no purpose about 73 times. I'm hungry, but I baked some crackers yesterday in my oven and they'll tie me over until we get some lunch. I can't wait for this album to come out. I think you're going to dig it.

Navarians,

Thank you so much for your support at the Reilly Center and in Allentown. Opening for Reel Big Fish was awesome. They were very cool guys and they put on a great show. We're off to Lackawanna next week to do a show for the Lake, and it should be a blast. I have to go buy some new sticks before we play again because I've thrown too many into the crowd these last few shows. So if you caught them, enjoy them. I'm adding a new cymbal to my set up. The drum store dude just called me to let me know it was in. I've received a lot of comments about my array of Zildjians from sound guys and stage guys recently so I was inspired to add another. A little fuel to the fire. I left the trailer open for our trip from Allentown to St. Bonaventure, thank God nothing fell out. A typical Tim Lindhome ADHD moment.
On a side note....I'm becoming addicted to McGriddles. My sister being the McGriddles girl hasn't helped my addiction to the savory breakfast sandwich. The Bradford, PA McDonalds drive thru dude probably knows me by name by now. Until Next time....

Navarians,

I woke up this morning to the glorious temperature of negative six, and while watching NBA highlights and jammin out to Def Leppard's High and Dry album, styled my hair with some Loreal. When I got done doing my hair I threw on my cool retro Broncos hat and my newest pair of Oakleys and headed out the door. I had to turn back though on my way to work because I left my Clive Cussler book on CD at home and didn't want to go too far without that. Dirk Pitt is the greatest hero. I got back, also saw that my wallet was on the kitchen couter and picked that up as well. Talked to my Utah boys Cort & Luther on the cell, tried to give my dogs kisses goodbye but they backed away from me and then I hit the road. Typical morning for this here rocker.

Navarians,

So last weekend, I went to the premier of my sister's new film, Million Dollar Baby. It's getting lots of well deserved Oscar buzz and has already been nominated for some Golden Globes. I met Clint Eastwood and Hilary Swank and numerous other talented actors & actresses. She plays Hilary Swank's sister and was brillaiant. It was an amazing film and I recommend it to anyone.
Big show Friday....back in OIean for the first time in a while. Should be sweet. Hope to see you there.

T

P.s. Here is a pic of my sister from http://www.imdb.com. To see the trailer, click the following: "Million Dollar Baby." Riki (my sister) is in the trailer too!

Navarians,

It's been four weeks since my last confession. We've got a couple of really big shows coming up that I'm looking forward to very much. We'll be playing some brand new stuff for you guys to chew on. Hopefully you'll like it, we've worked hard on it. Speaking of chewing: Here is a photo I took of a bull elk chewing on my windshield wiper out in South Dakota:

Navarians,

Hope everything is going well since we last spoke. I have no G.I. issues to speak of, due largely in part to the dicontinuation of my favorite cheese like product. Fall is upon us, my least favorite season of the year. It's the season in between water skiing and snow skiing. Aside from my band, the only things keeping me sane are NFL Football, the Dark Tower VII, and a new season of Survivor. My Denver Broncos are 5-2 by the way. Very happy about that. We'll see the Eagles on February 6th.

November is going to be a great month for Navar. I'm very much looking forward to playing at Allegheny College in Meadville and at Water Street in Rochester. I'd like to thank all who came and supported us in New York. Those were two of my favorite shows ever.

What I'm looking forward to most is playing the new material we've been working on. I'm sure you're going to dig it. I can't wait to play it for you.

Dear Mr. Or Mrs. Local Frito Lay Product Decision Maker:

I have been a loyal customer of yours for years...particularly of the Frito Lay Chili Cheese Dip. Simply put, it is my favorite food in the world. I would drive a half-hour out of my way to buy this product regularly. For years, I put up with the limited availability because I loved the product so much. A few miles in my car, an hour or so out of my day seemed a small price to pay for the satisfaction.

Now however, I am dismayed to find out the brand has been discontinued-- with out any notice, without posting on your company's website or even a flyer in the store explaining your decision.

This sir, is an outrage.

I understand the need to make decisions that are in the best interest of your company. However, this kind of customer disservice is unacceptable.

I put up with your capricious and arbitrary decision to limit the availability of Frito Lay Chili Dip for years. Now, to discontinue this product that was beloved by so many-- without so much as a word of notice or thanks to us, your loyal customers--is an insult.

Thank you very little,

Tim Lindhome

Navarians,

Yesterday my sister filmed a scene for the upcoming movie Rope Burns, starring Clint Eastwood, Morgan Freeman and Hilary Swank. In the scene she plays the sister of Hilary Swank. Clint Eastwood is also in the scene. Just sharing a proud brotherly moment.

Connecticut and Fillmore were a success last weekend. There was no hogtying though. We were all going to hogtie Skippy until we found out that it had always been a fantasy of his. Have the good one. See you in Hornell Saturday.

Navarians,

Well, we just got back from New York and we rocked it. Saturday night, Midnight, Central Manhattan, could there be a scene more Navarian?? The crowd was awesome. The atmosphere was awesome. Thank you to all who were there.

Now, to talk about me. As well as being the best looking member of the band, I'm also the most athletic. The other boys of the band are busy working out in a desperate attempt to have a body like mine. The secret to my 147 pound skin and bones physique is not in the work out. It's in the steady diet of Mountain Dew and Doritos. We're off to Hartford this week. It's the first time this band will play a show in Connecticut. I'm sure that I will once again be the only member of the band to play with my shirt off.

Navarians,

This past weekend, Pat and I visited my sister in Manhattan where she is an actress in the off Broadway play Embedded. She introduced us to the writer and director, Academy Award winner, Tim Robbins -- one great guy might I add. I admire my sister so much for living her dream. Above you can see her picture in Entertainment Weekly.

And for those of you who are interested in my G.I. issues, I went to the Cleveland clinic where I met the doctor with the world's largest finger and got a colonoscopy and a clean bill of health... things are good.

Navarians,

So the recording is finally over and tonight the band gets to listen to the final mastered product for the first time. I would have to say the highlight of the recording process for me was listening to Mojave Shake in the studio and having Robby Takac give me a high-five because we were stoked about what we heard. Pat had the video camera running during this moment, but of course was focused on Skippy, who was making faces at it. Boomer saw it though. He thought it was cool. I hope I don’t have any more run-ins with traffic cops between now and my next update, but if I do, I’m sure their presence will be more welcome than the barium enema I’m getting on Tuesday. On that note, have the good one.

Navarians,

About nine months ago, I got a phone call from Pat Barry, a musician with whom I had never spoken (or heard of) before. He and I began talking shop about what we wanted from a band, and what our aspirations were as musicians. It turned out that we both had the same goals in mind. We clicked and instantly became good friends. He came over to my house, and I proceeded to audition for this machine of his known as Navar. I played a ten minute drum solo and when I finished he told me that I needed to come to Fillmore for practice. Since joining the band on March 22nd I have had some of the greatest experiences of my life, and I've made three very good friends in the process. All of us have had one track minds over the last couple of months, that focus being on this album. We are constantly giving each other "guff," but as friends that's just how we do things. We all hold the utmost respect for one another as musicians and as men. This week the four of us are witnessing the magic that can happen when driven individuals share a common goal. The morale in this band has never been better. The drum and bass parts for the new album are now complete. It was fun watching Benny put the finishing touches on some kick ass baselines last night. We can't wait for you to hear this.
