I have really bad news guys....due to a tragic passing our show on Saturday night (1/14) at Club Diablo in Buffalo is postponed. I apologize for the short notice, but things like this can't really be planned. The funeral is Saturday so our show on Friday at RandR in NYC is still going on as planned. Thanks so much for your understanding and I promise we will make it up to you as soon as possible.

Seriously, I don't know what I would do without you guys. This has been a ridiculously stressful few months and if it wasn't for the Nation and the wonderful community that YOU ALL have made it...I don't know if I would be as excited as I am today. I will be putting together a big post on what I would like to call the "state of NAVAR" with all my thoughts on this past year and the wonderful one that is upon us. Expect to see it later today.
It is a little after 3am and I just finished up a demo for a new song that I am actually writing for all of you. I will be premiering it on Twisted Unkle Justin's radio show in a few hours but I wanted to post it here for you to download and hopefully enjoy. I think we all take this time to reflect on how we spent our last year...heck I do it all year long. I guess the main statement that I am trying to make is that as long as you are still breathing you have a chance to turn it all around.

Hey guys, I regret to announce that the show at the Hi-Fi Club in Cleveland has been postponed. I'll let everyone know when the new date is.
The good news is that we will be making a power-packed return to Club Diablo on Washington Street in Buffalo! The date is January 14th and the time is 10pm. This one is going to be huge!

Things are picking up everyone! I have been lucky to be a part of a pretty cool project during these past few weeks! Tomorrow on the Howard Stern Show my good friend Vinnie Favale (VP of Late Night Programming at CBS) will be on to say goodbye like all of the show regulars will be doing between now and when Howard moves to Sirius. Along with reminiscing his funny and embarrassing appearances...Vinnie will be promoting a compilation that I had the honor of co-producing called "The Best of Restless...Volume 1"
 The CD is a Stern show collectors item and contains 16 versions of the song that was made famous during the contest on the show last summer. We were one of the bands that participated in the contest and are also included on the compilation CD. Tune in to hear Vinnie promote the release tomorrow morning on the Howard Stern Show (12/6/05) and order your copy of this piece of broadcast history on www.RipTheMusic.com. There have been a few more shows booked, recording/writing/pre-production has begun and NAVAR is about to be re-born like you've never seen us before. It's all happening... Love Pat

So there's no shock at the upcoming shows, it is important for us to make an announcement. Well...who better to do it than the Skipster himself....
"This is Michael 'Skippy' Yudichack... and I have some rather sad news. I have decided to leave the band. This was a very difficult decision for me to make and there are many reasons. My best-friends Pat, Ben and Tim will continue with the band and continue to be successful. I haven't written in a while...and thought that this is as good a time as any. We are hanging out with our good friends and NAVAR Nation members Drewbie and Jason at the Pirates vs. Diamondbacks game here in Pittsburgh. Last night's show in Columbus was a dandy....but we tried to make the most of it. The house shot at Whiskey Dick's is called "the patriot missile" and we enjoyed those during our stay... We have worked incredibly hard for the last 3 years to build something special. I am incredibly honored to be a part of this group and the community that supports it. From the empty shows at Echo Lanes in Cuba, NY...to the rocking performances in front of thousands...this ride has been one that I will cherish for the rest of my life.
I'd like to think that we have affected people in a positive way...that they have gotten something out of what we do...but that isn't really something that is easy to gauge.
Anyway, I am being vague for a reason...to keep you reading! We have spent a lot of time together and everyone in NAVAR feels whole heartedly that its time for us to say goodbye to the past few years of struggle and triumph and make some changes. Our day jobs and responsibilities in the "real world" continue to dominate a lot of our time and the toll that it takes on us mentally and physically has grown considerably.
The accomplishments and experiences that we have obtained over the years have given us a wonderful story to tell. The new album is just about finished and will be a fantastic ending to NAVAR's wild run.

Ohhh Noo!!!! Ben has stolen some of the new songs and played them on the radio with Unkle Justin at WKPQ 105.3 FM "The Quest" in Hornell!! This morning the renegade bassist played "Touch of Class," "Please God Change," "Everywhere With Me" and "With Him" in their entirety and all of the Southern Tier heard them. Ben and JR from the Southern Tier Diesel were in studio to promote the benefit concert this Saturday night at the Knights of Columbus in Hornell, NY.

NAVAR's manager Adam Jester and Jester Racing have their first race this weekend at the Lancaster Motor Speedway in Lancaster, NY! Dubbed the "NAVAR Car," this fearsome racing team (including the legendary Frank "The Tank" Jester) will be force to be reckoned with in 2005! Sooo...head out to the track and cheer them on!
We know that race tracks can be crowded and confusing at times...so to help you out we have posted these reference photos. So NAVAR's manager Adam Jester is also a race car driver! He and the legendary Frank Jester are the founding members of Jester Racing and were highlighted in the December 2004 issue of Show and Cruise News. Check it out:

It runs 7.00 @ 93mph in the 1/8th mile, and 10.95 @124 mph in the 1/4 mile. It also has a gorgeous paint job, including a hot NAVAR logo on the back bumper (which is all that his opponents end up looking at). Rock on Adam!

The Arlene Grocery show in October has been moved from 10/4 to 10/11 and now starts at 8pm. This show is still right before the star studded punk rock karaoke and is now FREE!!!! Sorry for the inconvenience!
